Lancaster, PA and Buffalo, NY Now Available for Presale

Two of the shows we announced last week are now available for presale to Old97s.com Members. Get your tickets now before they're on sale to the public. Tickets to the 97's Oct 4 date at the Chamleon Club in Lancaster, PA and the Oct 8 show at the Town Ballroom in Buffalo, NY can be purchased right here.

Also just announced, The Old 97's will be supporting R.E.M. on Friday, October 24 at the Nokia Theatre in Dallas, TX. We will post more information on this show once it becomes available.

Lots of new dates have been added to the Blame It On Gravity tour and the Old97s.com Store is holding ticket presales for four of these dates right now. You must be an Old97s.com member to buy these tickets, so if you haven't already, create your membership account right here.

The original 24" X 48" acrylic painting used for the cover and booklet for Blame it on Gravity is being auctioned on Ebay by it's creator, Jayme Nourallah. Jayme is a Dallas based artist and prominent photographer who also happens to be the wife of Old 97's producer, Salim Nourallah. The auction starts on Thursday June 12 and ends on Sunday June 22. Don't miss this rare opportunity to own a special, one-of-a-kind piece of Old 97s memorabilia!

As promised, more dates have been confirmed for the Blame It On Gravity tour. These include another stop in N. Carolina, as well as stops in Virginia, DC, Pennsylvania, New York and Massachusetts. The Old97s.com Store is currently pre-selling tickets to all these shows. Check out the Tour page for date and venue information, and then head over to the Tickets page in the Store to pick up your tickets now.

Presale tickets are also still available for shows in Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Delaware and the guys' other dates in N. Carolina. Most of these presales will be ending on Friday, so get your tickets now, before they go on sale to the public.

Dance With Me Music Video Shoot

We want YOU to be an extra in our next music video for "Dance With Me", our first release from our new album Blame It On Gravity. Get to see what goes on behind the scenes, be in our music video and, best of all, see us!

The video shoots in Hollywood, CA on Sunday, May 18. You must be at least 18-years-old. All interested applicants should email Old97scasting@gmail.com.

Six more dates have been added to the Blame It On Gravity tour and the Old97s.com Store is now holding ticket presales for five of them. These shows will be held in Helotes, TX (July 18), Atlanta, GA (July 22), Nashville, TN (July 23), Charlotte, NC (July 25) and Dewey Beach, DE (July 31). The six date, July 26 at Moore Square Park in Raleigh, NC, is a free event, with no ticket required.

In celebration of Blame It On Gravity's release, Old97s.com has undergone a major makeover. In addition to changing the look of the site, the feature we're most excited to announce is our new message board. Here you can talk to other Old 97's fans about the new album, past releases, shows you're going to or have attended, and just about anything else that comes to mind. Feel free to post pictures and participate in naming the forum and forum sections. If you get stuck along away, you can always contact one of the board's moderators for help: Chris (username 'Daisy'), Morgan (username 'lovelymorgan') and our senior mod Frank from HitByATrain.com (username 'HitByATrain') participated in testing the forum features and are all huge 97's fans.

Two New Dates, Two New Ticket Presales

The guys will now be playing at the House of Blues in New Orleans, LA, on July 19 and at the WorkPlay Theatre in Birmingham, AL on July 21.
