My two favorite artists are Old 97's and Ryan Adams & the Cardinals/Whiskeytown.  I also like Counting Crows, Dashboard, REM, Train, Amy Winehouse, Pete Yorn, Coldplay but have seen so many styles of music in concert  from Chris Botti to Van Halen.  (wide range/variety of music)

I also like Guy Forsyth, Reverand Horton Heat, and Joe Bonamassa.

White Stripes (and Jack White's other band, the Raconteurs), the Clash, AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, and the Beatles. I listen to a lot more but those were the first that came to mind.
