    Welcome!

    Hello Everyone,

We're so excited to be launching these boards. They've been in the works for awhile now, but we could think of no better time to unveil them than with the release of the band's latest, Blame It On Gravity.

The purpose of this space is to meet other Old 97's fans, talk about what you think of band and their music, share the experiences you've had at shows you been to, post pictures, and discuss whatever else you can think of.

The first thing we'd like to invite you to do is to participate in naming this forum and the forum sections. Once we've got some suggestions, we'll create a poll and the community can vote on what names they like best. All this will be happening in the Suggestions section.

Participating in this forum is easy. If you're already a VIP Member of the site, sign into your account, introduce yourself and start posting. If you aren't a member yet you can become one by signing up here. It's free to join and we will always respect your privacy.

If you have any questions you can always contact one of the forums' moderators. Daisy, lovelymorgan and our senior mod Frank are here to help if you run into any trouble along the way. If you're problem cannot be resolved, contact me, the forum admin.

We hope you enjoy this addition to the site and we'll see you on the boards!

    Cheers,
    Amber and the Old97s.com Team

    Re: Welcome!

Great to see everyone here! Kudos to the band, Amber and the gang at old97s.com, and especially to all you guys (that would be us fans!) for creating, and making the most of, this great new resource for fans of the 97's. You know, if someone had told me that nearly 15 years later, I'd still be following the moves of this amazing band I happened to catch one night in a little bar in Denton, Texas, I'd have called them crazy. So needless to say, it's a real kick to be here, and I look forward to talking with each of you guys. Cheers, frank
