    Record Stores

A great deal has been mentioned in the 97's music section about where everyone's bought BIOG, but not everyone has shared, so I'm curious.....

Where do you shop for records--online or not?  I'm big on the tangible and like having the booklet/case/album (and yes, album...vinyl when possible).  I go to Waterloo and End of an Ear in Austin, and I *love love love* Amoeba in Hollywood.  I also like Goner in Memphis, TN.  Just recently got into Vinyl Collective online.

"Food is for eating, not toys for your child," reads a sign posted on a wall in typewritten text. A handwritten addition reads "Or 20% added."

I'm like you. I like having the booklet/case/album too. I try to buy my cds at Walmart b/c I work there so I get a discount. But I just buy wherever I can find it, ie Best Buy, Target (where I got BIOG Deluxe addition). I actually got a couple of CDS at Good Records yesterday. (Murrays solo album, BIOG/DE for a friend, and a Rhett DVD)

Cool, I didn't know target/walmart carried them -- Satellite Rides was the only 97's I've found at [Meijer] a department store  (not counting best buy). I figured they wouldn't carry New West releases for sure.
