OK all you lurkers: Anyone here planning on going to the Atlanta show on 7/22?

I just got my July schedule, and I don't have to be at work in ATL until the evening of the 23rd, so I'm going to fly in a day early and catch the show at the Variety Playhouse.

Anyone else going? I hate attending alone, but as it's the only show on the tour that where I can be in the same town at the same time as the band, I'm a goin' anyways.

If anyone else is planning to attend, please give a shout here or off-list via private message. I'll buy the first round!

Just noticed they have an instore at Criminal Records in Atlanta. Criminal is within walking distance of the VP. Wish they had an instore for the Asheville show. If Asheville wasn't closer I would make the trip down to Atlanta.

Coming up from Tampa, FL for the show in Atlanta since it doesn't seem they are coming down to FL. This is going to be my first time seeing these guys so if anyone can let me know what I am in store for, I would appreciate it. I got into their music about 3-4 months ago and probably listen to them just about everyday in my truck. I am bringing my wife and 16 year old son, who basically only likes rap and r&b, so this should be quite a culture shock to him. I am trying to get my wife into them and it seems to be working a little. This comes from a woman who's favorite artist is George Michael, urrrggg. See ya there people!

i'll be there with a buddy of mine. we'll be hanging around little fives for the afternoon so if you see two teenagers (one with curly hair), come and say hi.

I'll be there, the playhouse is a great venue. I saw Rhett there a couple years ago.

 Little 5 is a quircky little neighborhood.

MJM, prepare your ass for a kicking.... if you like their CD's, you'll love their live show.  The energy these 4 guys put into a performance is amazing.  I'm betting that your wife and son will be won over by the live show, even if the CD's haven't worked!
