Old97s.com

Does anyone know what time the Old 97s play at the Taste of Chicago.  I am in a panic.  My family (wife and four kids) have been looking for a chance to catch the band, and the Taste is probably the only one we will get.  (Unless the band wants to play the Waterfront Festival in Rockford, IL.  hint)

Anyway, I cant get a straight answer anywhere.  This site says 3, the myspace page says 8, (but so does the other bands sites), the Taste site just lists all the bands at 3, and the call my wife made to the 800 number for the Taste got no where. (but I imagine there are a few people who work there that are drinking heavily tonight from the earfull my wife gave them) 

I just want to do something this summer that stands out in the kids memory, but I also have to plan for the day.

i really wish i knew as well... i have friends that are working down there and they had no idea when i talked to them.. i'm going down there either way.. i was at taste earlier this week and it was fun, the beach isn't far away, fireworks at navy pier later at night.. i really wish i could answer your question, but i think we're in the same boat..

So I listened online to the station that is sponsoring the show, 93 XRT.  They didn't give times, but the commercial for the concert was very heavy on our favorite rockers.  This leads me to belive they are playing at 8.  But to avoid anymore stress, my wife and I decided to take the train from Harvard (to avoid my intolerance for anyone else who may be driving) spend the whole day there, and no matter what, rock out all day long.

We will be the crazy family.

I saw a schedule that had them going on at 4:20.  Gomez at 6.  The show will be broadcast live online at the wxrt site.
