Will the band even see this? Who knows. Been a fan of your music since that very first album... I mean, you know an album is amazing when you find yourself listening to every song and not skipping over any.
So..... the other day I'm dropping a friend off at her house and I say "hey... we should go see the Old 97s someday". For some reason, I automatically assumed the band was located in L.A. (mainly because, years back, I was at a party... in L.A.... and Rhett was there. If you're reading this Rhett, it was the party that Betty threw for her husband Bob's birthday... on SM pier if I recall... and the attire was 50s or 60s, something like that).
Anyway, my friend says "yeah, we should see them, but they hardly ever come to L.A. Maybe we could fly to Texas or Phoenix or something"
"Wait. I thought they were from L.A."
"Nope"
"The rat bastards!"
"Don't you mean the Rhett Bastards?"
"Yes, that's what I meant... I think I'll go on their website and beg them to do a show here in L.A."
