New Dates Added
Two more dates have been added to the Blame It On Gravity tour. The guys will be playing in the Waterfest Concert Series in Oshkosh, WI on June 26, and at Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI on June 28. A CD release party has also been added to the schedule. This is a free event that the Old 97's will be at. The 40-minute DVD from the deluxe edition of Blame It On Gravity will be screened at that party. For a full list of scheduled shows and appearances, check out the Tour page.

On April 26 Rhett will be playing a solo show at the Hiro Ballroom in New York City. The show will feature several new songs from the Old 97's upcoming release Blame It On Gravity. Tickets are still available for this show through Ticketmaster.

"Blame It On Gravity" Presale
Starting today, you can pre-order your copy of the new Old 97's album, Blame It On Gravity, through the Old97s.com Store. There are currently two items available in our presale: the regular Blame It On Gravity CD and a special Deluxe Edition, which comes with a 40-minute DVD of interviews with the band and producer Salim Nourallah, and footage from a private show the guys put on for their friends and family once the album was complete. Blame It On Gravity will also be available on vinyl at a later date.
As a special bonus, all presale purchasers will be entered into a draw to win a copy of Blame It On Gravity liner notes autographed by the 97s.
Please note that because this is a presale, your order will be shipped to arrive on or around the album's release date, May 13. Delivery for orders placed outside the US may be slightly delayed.

April 4 is the final day to purchase 4-day passes to the Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival in Lawrence, KS at the current discounted rate of $144 USD. On May 15 at 5:30pm, the 97's will be at Cactus Music (2110 Portsmouth) in Houston, TX and on May 16 at 5pm the guys will be at Waterloo Records and Video (600A N. Lamar) in Austin, TX. Old 97's Kick off First National Headlining Tour in Support of "Blame It On Gravity"
It has just been announced that Old 97’s will kick off a headlining tour in support of their much-anticipated new album, Blame It On Gravity, May 30 in Houston, TX. Find out when the 97’s will be coming to your town by checking out the chart below and stay tuned for updates about purchasing your tickets.
Blame It On Gravity, the band’s seventh studio recording, will be released May 13 via New West Records and is the band’s first album in 4 years. Blame It On Gravity finds the band turning up the amps and returning to the satisfying crunch of its early records. Well known as an explosive live act, the band is excited to present these new tracks on stage.
In addition to the tour dates, the band is gearing up for several in-store appearances in support of Blame It On Gravity. The band will be in Houston at Cactus Music on May 15 followed by Waterloo Records in Austin on May 16.
